This session is designed to support Personal Project coordinators and supervisors in strengthening their understanding and practice of the PP. Together, we will explore the purpose and process of the project, clarify the roles of coordinators and supervisors, and discuss strategies for guiding students effectively while maintaining authenticity and quality. Participants will engage with practical tools, best practices, and common challenges related to supervision, assessment, and academic honesty. The session aims to equip educators with clear approaches to streamline the PP journey and empower students to take ownership of their learning.

This session explores how to design a project-based unit based on the 7 essentials of PBL using the 4H approach—Head, Heart, Hands, and Homes. Participants will unpack the role of a driving question, interdisciplinary connections, student voice and choice, and 21st-century skills. The session emphasises milestones such as product drafts, feedback and revision, and reflection, ensuring authentic, inquiry-driven, and impactful learning.
